About Question Center

The Manage Questions menu item under Questions in the Client Admin Center allows Administrators to create and manage questions that are used to capture registrant information during the selling process, from initial registration to sale, that can provide insight into who is purchasing, what they are looking for, and why.

Questions are organized into folders for easy reference and access, and can be set up in a couple of ways:

  • One set of questions and answers that are associated to multiple projects - If you have questions and answers that are identical across a number of projects, you only need to create the questions and answers once in a 'master' folder and then associate them to multiple projects as needed.
  • Specific sets of questions and answers that are unique to each project - If you have questions and answers that vary depending on the project (e.g. different answers for How did you hear about us), you can set up folders for each project, and add the specific questions and answer to each as needed.

The Question Center is accessed in the Client Admin Center under Questions and then Manage Questions.


Add Question Folder

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions.


2 - Click on Add Folder. This will add your new folder to the Root Directory of folders.


3 - Enter a Folder Name in the space provided.

Note: To create sub-folders, simply click on the name of an existing folder to use as the parent folder, and follow the same steps used to add a new folder.

Add Question/Answers

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions.

- Click on the folder where you want the question to appear, and then click on Add Question.

3 - In the Name field, enter a short title to identify the question. For example, "How Heard" could be the title for the question "How did you hear about us?"
4 - In the Type dropdown, select the type of question to create. The following choices are available:

  • Checkboxes - Answers are displayed as checkboxes and multiple answers can be selected
  • Drop-Down (Multiple) - Answers are displayed in a dropdrown and multiple answers can be selected
  • Drop-Down (Single) - Answers are displayed in a dropdown and only one answer can be selected
  • Manual Input - Allows for the entry of free-flow text information with no defined structure
  • Radio Buttons - Answers are displayed as radio buttons and only one answer can be selected
  • Date Time - Allows for date time selection
  • Date - Allows for date selection

5 - In the Question field, type in the full question as it should be displayed. For example, “How did you hear about us?”

6 - Under Projects to the right, check the boxes beside the project(s) to which the question applies. Associating the question to a project will display it in the Sales Center when a Lasso user is adding or editing a registrant. Please note that projects are divided into two sections - Active and Archived.

7 - For question types other than manual input, click on Add Answer.

8 - Enter the answer in the new space provided. You can enter your answers in two ways:

  • Click on Add Answer multiple times to add as many fields as you need and then go back and enter your answers in the fields provided; or
  • Click on Add Answer, enter your answer in the field provided, and then click on Add Answer again and repeat the process as many times as needed.


9 - Click Save.
Note:
A red triangle in the upper left corner of an entry indicates the item has not been saved. Once it’s been saved, the red triangle will disappear.

Update/Edit Answers

Warning: Changes made to answers will be automatically updated throughout Lasso and will affect registrant details and corresponding reports. If the answer is being used on an online registration page, then the registration page will also need to be updated.

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions.

4 - Click on the + beside the appropriate question folder.
5 - Select the question.
6 - Double-click on the answer(s) you want to change and update as needed.

7 - Click Save to update.
8 - If you want to add an answer, click on Add Answer, enter the answer in the space provided and Save.


Update/Edit Question

Warning: Changes made to questions will be automatically updated throughout Lasso and will affect registrant details and corresponding reports.

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions.

2 - Click on the + beside the appropriate question folder.

3 - Select the question you want to edit.

4 - Make the desired changes to the selected Name, Type, or Question.

5 - Check or uncheck the boxes under Projects to associate or unassociate the question. Associating the question to a project will display it in the Sales Center when a Lasso user is adding or editing a registrant. Unassociating the question will hide it so that the User will not see it.

6 - Click Save to update.

Update/Edit Question Folder Name

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions.


2 - Double-click on the folder you want to update and then update as needed.

3 - Click out of the box to save the change.

Reorder Answers

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions.

2 - In the appropriate question folder, double-click on the question that contains the answers that are to be reordered.
3 - In the answers section, drag and drop the answers into the desired order and Save.

This will affect how the answers are displayed on the registrant profile.

Note: If you want to sort your answers in ascending or descending order, click on the Sort button. Clicking it once will sort the answers in ascending order and clicking it again will sort them in descending order.

Reorder Questions

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions

2 - Drag and drop the questions into the desired order and Save.

This will affect the order of the questions that are displayed on the registrant profile.

Delete Answer

Warning: If an answer is deleted, the information will be permanently removed  from Lasso including from registrant details and corresponding reports. If the deleted answer is being used on an online registration page, no information will be captured.

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions.

2 - Click on the + beside the appropriate Question Folder.
3 - Double-click on the question that contains the answer(s) that are to be deleted.
4 - Select the answer(s) that are to be deleted.
5 - Click on Delete Answer.

6 - You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete the selected item(s). Click Yes.

Delete Question

Warning: If a question is deleted, any reference to that question and all associated answers will be permanently removed  from Lasso including from registrant details and corresponding reports. If the deleted question is being used on an online registration page, no information will be captured. It is recommended that if a question is no longer needed, simply unassociate the question from the project.

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions.

2 - Click the + beside the appropriate question folder.
3 - Double-click on the question name that is to be deleted.
4 - Click on Delete.

5 - You will be asked if you are sure you want to remove the question. Click Yes.

Delete Question Folder

Warning: When you delete a folder, you are deleting all of the questions within that folder. If a question is deleted, any reference to that question and all associated answers will be permanently removed  from Lasso including from registrant details and corresponding reports. If the deleted question is being used on an online registration page, no information will be captured. It is recommended that if a question is no longer needed, simply unassociate the question from the project.

1 - In the Client Admin Center, click Questions and select Manage Questions.


2 - Click on the question folder you want to delete.
3 - Click on Delete


4 - You will be asked if you are sure you want to remove the folder. Click Yes.
