About Exposures

The Exposures field in the Inventory Center can be used as a descriptor to provide additional unit details, e.g. North, South, etc. Lasso provides a list of default Exposures with which to get started. Inventory Managers can add to or update these defaults as needed. Users are then able to select an Exposure in the dropdown list of an inventory profile. Exposures are Component-specific so if your project consists of separate Components, Exposures must be added to each.

In the initial stages of project setup in Lasso, Inventory is normally uploaded using Lasso’s Import functionality, in which case, Exposures in the import file will automatically populate the Exposures dropdown list. However, if updates are required, the Exposures area allows a user to manually make changes or additions.

Default Exposures:

  • East
  • North
  • North East
  • North West
  • South
  • South East
  • South West
  • West

To view the existing list of Exposures, hover over Project Settings and select Exposures.

This brings you to the list of Exposures that can be applied to individual units.
