Inventory Center - Manage Unit Notes

In this article:

Add Unit Note

Warning: : Once a Note is entered, it can be edited but not removed.

1 – In the Inventory Center, click on the appropriate Component tab, if applicable. You won't see Component tabs if there is only one.
2 – Click on the unit in the Inventory List.

3 – Click on Contract.

4 – Click on Add Note.

5 – Enter your Notes in the space provided and Save.

Your Note will be displayed in the Notes section of the inventory profile.

Update/Edit/Reply to Note

1 – In the Inventory Center, click on the appropriate Component tab, if applicable. You won't see Component tabs if there is only one.
2 – Click on the unit in the Inventory List.

3 – Click on Contract.

4 – To update a note, click on the Note number, e.g. Note #1. To reply to the note, click on Reply.

5 – Update the Note as needed and Save.

View Notes Summary for Unit

1 – In the Inventory Center, click on the appropriate Component tab, if applicable. You won't see Component tabs if there is only one.
2 – Click on the unit in the Inventory List.

3 – Hover over Other Actions and select Notes Summary.

4 – This will bring up the Notes Summary in a new window. To print or export the summary, click on the Print, CSV, or Excel buttons above it.
