Inventory Center - Manage Tenants

Assign Tenant to Inventory Unit

Note: The tenant you are assigning to the unit must be in the registrant database in the Sales Center prior to assignment.

1 – In the Inventory Center, click on the appropriate Component tab, if applicable. You won't see Component tabs if there is only one.
2 – Click on the unit in the Inventory List.

3 – Hover over Other Actions and select Tenants.

4 – In the space provided under Assign a New Tenant, type at least the first three letters of the tenant’s first or last name and select the tenant from the list that comes up. This will move the selected tenant to the Assigned Tenants list.

5 – Under Lease Details, select the Start Date and End Date of the lease and enter the monthly dollar amount.

6 – Click Save.

Tenant information will be listed in the Tenants section of the inventory profile.

Delete Tenant from Inventory Unit

1 – In the Inventory Center, click on the appropriate Component tab, if applicable. You won't see Component tabs if there is only one.
2 – Click on the unit in the Inventory List.

3 – Hover over Other Actions and select Tenants.

4 – There are two ways you may remove tenants:
a) To remove all tenants in the list along with all lease details, click on Clear All.

b) To remove a single tenant but leave the lease details with the unit, click on the red X beside the tenant’s name in the list.

5 – A message will come up asking if you want to remove the lease information. Click OK.
a) If you selected Clear All, you will be asked if you’re sure you want to remove all tenant and lease information.

b) If you clicked the red X beside the tenant’s name, you will be asked if you’re sure you want to remove the tenant.

The tenant and the lease information (if selected) will be removed.
