About Registrant Relationships

Adding relationships between registrants is a way of linking them if they are family members, realtor and client, partners, etc. Lasso provides default relationship types which you can add to if needed. Default relationship types include:

  • Associate > Associate
  • Child > Parent
  • Co-Worker > Co-worker
  • Family > Family
  • Friend > Friend
  • Parent > Child
  • Partner > Partner
  • Sibling > Sibling
  • Spouse > Spouse
  • Realtor > Client
  • Co-Buyer > Co-Buyer

Add Relationship between Registrants

Note: The registrants you are linking must both be in the database before adding the relationship.

1 – In on the registrant profiles, click on Actions and select Relationship.

2 – On the Add Relationship screen, in the Search For bar, type at least 3 letters of the other registrant's name.
3 – Select the appropriate name from the list that comes up. The selected name will appear to the right.

4 – Select the Relationship type in the dropdown.

5 – Click Create Relationship.

The relationship will be listed in the Relationships section of the registrant profile. When two registrants are linked via a relationship, the relationship will be displayed on both registrant profiles.

To go to the other registrant’s profile, click on the registrant’s name in the Relationships section and click Go to profile.

Update/Edit Relationship between Registrants

1 – In the Relationships section of the registrant profile, click on the registrant.

2 – In the Relationship window, click Edit Relationship.

3 – In the Update Relationship window, select the appropriate Relationship type in the dropdown.

4 – Click Update Relationship.

The relationship between registrants will be updated in the Relationship section of both registrant profiles.

Delete Relationship between Registrants

1 – In the Relationships section, click on the registrant's name that you want to remove.

2 – In the Relationship window, click Edit Relationship.

3 – In the Update Relationship window, click Delete.

The relationship between registrants will be removed.
