About Automated Marketing Campaigns

Lasso's Marketing Campaign functionality allows you to set up a single mass mail or a series of mass mails that will be automatically sent to a selected registrant list on specified days and times.

Note: The registrant list and email template for the mass mail must be created prior to creating the automated campaign.

Create Automated Mass Mail Marketing Campaign

Note: The registrant list and email template must be created prior to creating the automated campaign.

1 - In the Sales Center, click Marketing and select Campaigns.


2 - In the New Campaign section, under Details, enter a Name and Description for your Campaign.

3 - Under Duration, select a Start Date and End Date for when the Campaign is to begin and end.

4 - Under Objectives, enter a dollar amount in the Budget and/or Actual Cost fields if desired. (You can go back to enter the Actual Cost at a later date as well.)

5 - The Status is Active as default. Select Pending if the Mass Mail is not ready to be sent. You can change the status to Complete or Cancelled when appropriate.

Note: The Status does not change automatically.

6 - Click Save.

7 - Once you have saved your campaign, it will appear in the list of Campaigns on the left of the screen.

8 - To set up the automatic mailing, click on the name of the campaign in the list to bring up the details and, under Events, click on Add Mailing.

9 - In the Send Time boxes, select the date and time to send the mass mail.

10 - In the Template box, select the email template from the dropdown.

11 - Beside Send to Primary Email Only?, leave the default as Yes so that registrants do not receive multiple emails.

12 - Under Custom Lists or Groups, select the registrant list that is to receive the mass mail.

13 - Click Save.

Note: Be sure to test your mass mail before sending to the registrant list.

Update/Edit Automated Mass Mail Marketing Campaign

1 - In the Sales Center, click Marketing and select Campaigns.

 

2 - Click on the Campaign name in the Campaigns list.

3 - Under the Campaign name, update the Campaign Details, Duration, and/or Objectives as needed.

4 - Click Save beside the Campaign name.

5 - In the Events section, update the Mailing details as needed.

6 - Click Save in the Events section.

Delete Automated Mass Mail Marketing Campaign and/or Mailing

1 - In the Sales Center, click Marketing and select Campaigns.

2 - Click on the Campaign name in the Campaigns list.

3 - If you want to delete the Campaign, click on the red X beside the Campaign name.

4 - If you want to delete a Mailing, click on the red x in the Events section.

Note: You will only see the red x if the Mailing is Pending. You cannot delete a Mailing that is Complete.
