Project Admin Center - Project Setup - Component Settings

About Component Settings

The Component Settings menu item under Project Setup in the Project Admin Center allows a Project Administrator to add options that users can select Floor Plate and Direction. These fields can be used to provide additional inventory unit information.

To manage Component Settings:

In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Component Settings.

Add Direction Options

1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Component Settings.

2 - Click on the Directions tab.

3 - Select the appropriate Component in the dropdown.

4 - Click on Add Direction.

5 - A new line will appear. Enter the Direction in the space provided and Save.

Add Floor Plate Options

1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Component Settings.

2 - Click on the Floor Plates tab.

3 - Select the appropriate Component in the dropdown.

4 - Click on Add Floor Plate.

5 - A new line will appear. Enter the Floor Plate in the space provided and Save.

Update/Edit Direction Option

1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Component Settings.

2 - Click on the Direction tab.

3 - Select the appropriate Component in the dropdown.

4 - Double-click on the Direction you want to change, update as needed, and Save.

Warning: Editing a a Direction will permanently change the information for all inventory details and reports. Any Directions that are edited will be updated wherever they are used throughout Lasso, including inventory details and related reports.

Update/Edit Floor Plate Option

1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Component Settings.

2 - Double-click on the Floor Plate you want to change, update as needed, and Save.

Warning: Editing a Floor Plate will permanently change the information for all inventory details and reports. Any Floor Plates that are edited will be updated wherever they are used throughout Lasso, including inventory details and related reports.

Delete Direction Option

1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Component Settings.

2 - Click on the Direction tab.

3 - Select the appropriate Component in the dropdown.

4 - Click on the Direction you want to delete.

5 - Click on Delete Direction.

6 - You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete the selected item(s). Click Yes.

Warning: Deleting a Direction will permanently remove all references to it from the inventory details and related reports.

Delete Floor Plate Option

1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Component Settings.

2 - Select the appropriate Component in the dropdown.

3 - Click on the Floor Plate you want to delete.

4 - Click on Delete Floor Plate.

5 - You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete the selected item(s). Click Yes.

Warning: Deleting a Floor Plate will permanently remove all references to it from the inventory details and related reports.
