FAQs - Questions versus Custom Fields

Lasso provides users with two options for capturing additional information about their registrants:

  • Questions
  • Custom Fields

 Generally, Questions are recommended for a couple of key reasons:

  • They can be added to your online form (registration page);
  • The information captured is included in the standard Registrant Traffic Report available in the Sales Center.

However, there are times when Custom Fields may be necessary, specifically when:

  • The information is required;
  • A registrant is on multiple projects and you want a change to their information in one project to automatically update in all projects.
