Need-to-Knows about Integrating Daypack with Lasso

Daypack is a cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management solution for new residential construction. Lasso can be integrated with Daypack using the Lasso Pro API (Application Programming Interface). The API allows the two systems to communicate with each other via webhooks that send information from Daypack to Lasso and vice versa.

To integrate Lasso with Daypack, access to API Integration Tokens is needed. This is only available to users with a Project Admin role and the Integrations permission. Please note that there is a fee for this service.

Important points to note about integration between Lasso and Daypack:

  • Setup in Lasso must be based on the project model, i.e. one community per project. One Lasso project will map to one Daypack project. If you are using a single project in Lasso for all your communities (such as OSC and Sales), this will not work for you.
  • The registrant profile must contain first name, last name, and email.
  • Lasso purchasers are added to Daypack by searching Results from Lasso within Daypack. Purchasers that do not already exist in Lasso can be added in Daypack when entering details of the sale. The purchaser will automatically be entered into Lasso.
  • Updates made in Lasso to a registrant first name, last name, email, phone, or address will automatically be reflected in Daypack and vice versa.
  • A registrant that is deleted in Lasso will not be deleted in Daypack and vice versa.
  • When a purchaser is added to a unit in Daypack, the following is automatically reflected in the registrant’s profile in Lasso:
    • Purchaser Status is displayed as $ Purchaser under the contact details.
    • Inventory section is added containing Unique ID, Unit Number, Purchase Price, and Contract Status.
  • When a contract is cancelled in Daypack, it will be removed from the registrant’s profile in Lasso and they will no longer have the Status of $ Purchaser under the contact details.
