About Secondary Source Types
Secondary Source Types are set up in the Project Admin Center to identify or categorize registrants in the Sales Center. Using the Secondary Source field, your web developer can program your online form (registration page) to automatically identify leads coming from a lead capture source such as Trulia or Zillow, or it can be used to group registrants by specific import lists.
To manage Secondary Source Types:
1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Registrant Settings.
2 - Click on the Secondary Source Types tab.
Add Secondary Source Type
1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Registrant Settings.
2 - Click on the Secondary Source Types tab.
3 - Click on Add Secondary Source Type.
4 - A new line will appear. Enter the Secondary Source Type in the space provided. Double-click in the Description field to enter a description if desired.
You can enter your Secondary Source Types in two ways:
- Click on Add Secondary Source Type multiple times to add as many fields as you need and then go back and enter your Secondary Source Types in the spaces provided; or
- Click on Add Secondary Source Type, enter your Secondary Source Type in the space provided, and then click on Add Secondary Source Type again and repeat the process as many times as needed.
5 - Click Save.
Update/Edit Secondary Source Type
1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Registrant Settings.
2 - Click on the Secondary Source Types tab.
3 - Double-click on the Secondary Source Type you want to change and edit as desired.
4 - Click Save.
Warning: Editing a Secondary Source Type will permanently change the information for all associated registrant details and reports. Any Secondary Source Types that are edited will be updated wherever they are used throughout Lasso, including registrant retails and related reports. If you wish to keep any record of old Secondary Source Types, create new ones instead of editing existing types.
Delete Secondary Source Type
1 - In the Project Admin Center, click Project Setup and select Registrant Settings.
2 - Click on the Secondary Source Types tab.
3 - Click on the Secondary Source Type you want to delete.
4 - Click on Delete Secondary Source Type.
5 - You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete the selected item(s). Click Yes.
Note: You can delete more than one Secondary Source Type at the same time by holding down your Ctrl key and selecting multiple Secondary Source Types.
Warning: Deleting a Secondary Source Type will permanently remove it from all registrant details and associated reports. Please ensure you update your registrants to a new Secondary Secondary Source Type (if applicable) prior to deleting any items.
